MauD Nakà Paris

Maison MauD Nakà is a brand of raffia accessories. We have chosen to use raffia from Madagascar as the primary material in all our creations. Raffia is a natural fiber originating from the Big Island.

Called raffia, raffia or rofia, this textile fiber is of rare quality due to its strength, flexibility and exceptional color.

Renowned for the uniqueness of their weaving , we work with a workshop of Malagasy women artisans composed of Nih, Niry, Nanja, Raphaeline, Mialy and Julie, so all our raffia bag collections are made entirely by hand.

These craftswomen carefully participate in ensuring the continued use of this noble material, and MauD Naka offers them stable and long-term employment and recognition of their expertise.
